Vincent Wathelet has been appointed Head of Belgium and Luxembourg for Allianz Real Estate. He has been Acquisition Manager for the region since 2015
Based in Brussels, Vincent is responsible for a EUR 708 million portfolio owned by Allianz companies, composed predominantly of office assets in the cities of Brussels and Luxembourg. Major assets in the portfolio include the 18,000 sqm South City Building in Brussels and 24,000 sqm Vertigo Real Estate Complex in Luxembourg, which was acquired in October last year at a price of EUR 178 million.
Vincent sits in the Senior Management Team of Allianz Real Estate for Western Europe, reporting to Alexander Gebauer, CEO for the region.
Previously, Vincent was Asset Manager at BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management, where his responsibilities included management of real estate assets, equity raising for non-listed Real Estate Investment Funds and the structuring management of private placements. He has also held roles at Catella Codemer and Hewlett Packard.
