Allianz Real Estate is travelling with great expectations to MIPIM in Cannes this year for two reasons: On the one hand the chances seem good that the French real estate project „Laennec“ will be honored with the MIPIM-Award. And on the other hand the team around the new CEO François Trausch is looking forward to an interesting discussion about digital innovation in the real estate industry.
MIPIM has been a key exhibition, conference, networking and transaction event in the agendas of the world's top real estate players since 1990. With 21,500 delegates from 90 countries, including 4,800 investors meanwhile registered MIPIM continues to be the leading annual gathering of the world's real estate industry. Innovation and evolution as key driver of our time, fosters the central theme of the 2016 edition, "Housing the World."
François Trausch being at the helm of Allianz Real Estate since beginning of the year comments: "For us MIPIM is one of the key industry events during the year: it provides the perfect platform not only for networking and to test the waters but also to further position ourselves as one of the leading global real estate investment and asset management companies and to set the ground for new deals in order to meet our investment targets in 2016."
Best chance to win the MIPIM-Award
After having been honored with the Special Jury Prize in the Best of SIMI awards some months ago Laennec - the prestigious development in the French real estate portfolio - has been nominated for the MIPIM Awards in the category, Best Refurbished Building. The historical property in Paris was renovated by the architect, Benjamin Mouton, who also led the renovation of the Notre-Dame cathedral or the Invalides in Paris and is rented at the luxury group, Kering. The result will become public at the Awards Ceremony on 17 March, 2016 at 18.30.
