Coeur Cologne, the office and business building on Breslauer Platz in Cologne, is as good as fully let. By the time works are completed in the spring of 2017, the HRS Group will have rented around 10,500 square meters of office space, along with another 780 square meters which it intends to expand into a conference center. The sizeable central lobby and the 'sky garden' on the roof of Coeur are sure to be the highlight for any future tenants: employees and customers will be able to enjoy unobstructed views of Cologne Cathedral from the accessible rooftop garden. The property is located right next to Cologne Central Station, and the area available includes 121 parking spaces. Up until now, the company's registered office has been in the southern part of Cologne's old city center.
Allianz Lebensverischerung, represented by Allianz Real Estate Germany, is the landlord.
The HRS Group combines the HRS hotel portal, HRS Holidays, a holiday home portal, the online reservation service HOTEL DE and Tiscover, a portal for holidays in the Alps. More than 290,000 hotels in 190 countries and over 400,000 holiday homes and apartments in Europe are already connected to these portals. As well as hundreds of hotel chains, this also includes around 150,000 privately run hotels.
Coeur Cologne to be completed in the spring of 2017
Allianz began building Coeur Cologne in January 2015, and the building is likely to be ready for occupancy by April 2017. The new office and business building, located directly at the entrance to the Kunibertsviertel district right next to Cologne Central Station, will considerably enhance the central pocket of land on Breslauer Platz. The property will comprise roughly 14,000 square meters of rental area. The Cologne-based architects msm meyer schmitz-morkramer rhein gmbh designed the building, which will boast a metal and glass facade with an entrance area of up to 20 meters high, and a four-story window.
JLL's Cologne office provided advice to the landlord, whereas HRS was advised by Proximus.
